Charles "Chuck" H. Brown, age 51, of Chatsworth, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 after a 3 ½ year battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 26, 1962 in Chatsworth. Chuck installed floor covering for 35 years, he loved fishing and hunting. He loved his 2 dogs, Des and Sookie, they were always by his side. He is preceded in death by his father, Edward Brown; and a son, Zachary Brown. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Faye Brown of Chatsworth; adopted daughter, Denise Stanley of Chatsworth; mother, Linda Doris Brown of Crandall; brothers and sister in law, Milan and Vicki Brown of Crandall, Barry Brown of Crandall; special nephews, Chase Brown, Tony Brown, Matthew Hurdt; he is also survived by many loving friends and relatives. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Charles "Chuck" H. Brown will be held at 12:00 PM Thursday, May 1, 2014 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with T.R. Etheridge officiating. Interment will follow at Hope Well Baptist Church Cemetery. Johnny White, Gary Edwards, Dennis Stanley, Tommy Cleary, Charlie Sparks and Don Gibson will be serving as pallbearers. The family will be receiving friends from 10:00 AM till the hour of service.
