Charles Hamilton Laney Jr., age 71, of Rocky Face, Ga. passed away on Monday, August 19, 2024. He was born January 6, 1953. He was preceded in death by his parent's father, Charles Hamilton Laney Sr. and mother, Cathy "Waldroup" Laney, his first wife, Amanda Elaine Laney. He is survived by his wife, Glenda "Patton" Laney; sons, Samuel Laney, Jonathan Laney; stepson, Shawn Patton; daughter, Bonnie Faith Laney; grandchildren, Nicholi Dewson Weeks; step-grandchild, Devin Patton; great grandson, Danny Patton. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mr. Charles Hamilton Laney Jr. will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at Mill Creek Baptist Church with Pastor Keely Hasty officiating. Interment will be at Mill Creek Baptist Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, August 23, 2024 at Dalton Funeral Home.
