Charles Dee Parker, Sr., age 85, of Chatsworth, GA, passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2025. Charles was born in Dalton, GA, the son of the late Drew Parker and Jessie Mae Sane Parker. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Charles retired from Shaw Industries after thirty-four years of service. He was of the Baptist faith. Charles enjoyed fishing, gardening, and was great at fixing things. In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by a sister, Eloyce Goodwin. Survivors include his wife of sixty-three years, Sallie Parker; daughter, Michele Parker; son, Charles Parker, Jr. (Beth); grandchildren, Christopher Walraven (Peggy), Daniel Walraven (Alicia), Brett Parker (Kasey), and Ryan Parker; great-grandchildren, Alyssa Walraven, Aubrey Parker, Abigail Parker, and Dixie Walraven; and a brother, LeRoy Parker (Phyllis).
