Charles Slaton, age 69, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Monday, July 31, 2023. He was born on July 23, 1954. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Slaton and Katherine Crider Slaton; and daughter, Kathy Lee Slaton. He is survived by his sons, Joseph Slaton, and Kenneth Slaton; brothers and sister-in-law, Herbert and Peggy Slaton of Dalton, Thomas Slaton of Dalton; sister and brother-in-law, Louise and Robert Ledford of Lafayette; and grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A graveside service for Charles Slaton will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at the committal shelter at Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
