Mr. Charlie Edward Hill, age 77, of Dalton, Ga. passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2026. Mr. Hill was born on July 8, 1948. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Ruth Hill; brother, Wright Hill. Charlie was a jack of all trades, loves old cars, and working his garden. He will be missed.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Hill; daughters, Sonya Jones (Greg), and Renee Sanford (Stiles); son, Greg Hill; and grandchildren, Brandy Adams (Scott), Harley Dukes (Harley), Taylor Edwards (Austin), Dillon Sanford, and Sarah Sanford; numerous great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews, Holly Alford, April Hall, and Tyler Hill.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mr. Hill will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at Poplar Spring Baptist Church with Brother Neil Hasty officiating. Interment will be at Poplar Springs Cemetery.
