Charlie Young Jr., age 81, of Dalton, Ga. passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2024. He was born June 11, 1943. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Willie Young Sr. and Florence Nightgail Young; brother Uless Grant Young. He is survived by his wife, Cindy Linder; son, Shane Harris; brothers, Wayne "Bubby" Lee Young, Glenn Everett Young; sisters, Emma Jean Pritchett, Loretta Thompson A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mr. Charlie Young will be held at 1:00 pm on Sunday, October 27, 2024 at the Chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Bowen and Pastor Chad Brian officiating. Interment will be Mineral Springs Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Sunday, October 27, 2024 at Dalton Funeral Home.
