Christy Lynn Clark Wimpey, age 38 of the Beaverdale Community went home to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 21, 2013 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Wilbur and Mary Ruth Manis, Audlee Baker, Eunice Gaston and Doyle Clark; great-grandparents, Hubert and Clara Gaston; a nephew, Jason Lee Clark. She is survived by her husband, Ronald Wimpey of the residence; daughters, Katie Wimpey and Lacey Clark; parents, Doyle and Debby Clark; a sister and brother-in-law, Angela and Bryan Tankersley; special nephews, Johnathon Clark and Timothy Shoemaker; a grandmother, Janelle Bramblett; grandparents, Ralph and Regenia Goswick; brother and sister-in-law Tim and Mistie Moore; sister and brother-in-law, Misty and Danny Walden, April Filmore; mother-in-law, Mary Wimpey; several nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Christy Lynn Wimpey will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, September 29, 2013 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Owenby officiating. The family will start receiving friends at 1:00, two hours prior to the service.
