Claude T. Cartledge, he was well known by his nicknames "Dragon" and "Beagle" age 67, of Chatsworth, GA, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023. He was an amazing hunter who loved to help others learn to hunt & fish. He was born December 13, 1955. He is proceeded in death by his parents, mother, Jonnie "Akins" Cartledge; father, Claude W. Cartledge both of Chatsworth; sisters, Teresa Cartledge, Shelia Cartledge both of Chatsworth. His loving family and friends will miss him dearly, his wife of 45 years, Diane Cartledge of Chatsworth; daughter, Dalea Hawkins and grandsons, Zander Hawkins, Aiden Hawkins of Calhoun, son, Micha Cartledge, daughter in-law, Allison; grandchildren, Drake Cartledge, Abby Cartledge of Crandell; son, Jody Cartledge of Chatsworth; brother and sister in-law, Bobby and Cindy Cartledge of Dalton; nephew, Cameron Cartledge; niece, Megan Cartledge Lane; special aunt, Billie Akins of Chatsworth; special friends, George Hobbs, Paul Davis, Delane Mathis, Gary Chadwick. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Claude Cartledge will be held at 4:00 PM on Sunday, February 26, 2023 in the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Shon Akins officiating. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM on Sunday, February 26, 2023 at Dalton Funeral Home.
