Clay Jr. Allen, age 82, of Dalton, Ga. passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2024. He was born September 15, 1942. He was preceded in death by his father, Clay Allen Sr. and mother, Marie Tankersley Allen; brothers, Ellis Allen, William Allen, Jay Allen, Gary Allen, Jackie Allen, Ray Allen, Tommy Allen, Joe Allen, Stoney Allen, Winston Allen; sisters, Elise Allen, Marie West; sister in-law, Martha Allen. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Sowards Allen; sons, Kendall (Marsha) Allen, Bryan (Loretta) Rowland, Vince Rowland; brothers, Charles (Maryanne) Allen, John Allen, Wendall (Pat) Allen, Jimmy (Doris) Allen; sisters, Linda (Larry) Pelfrey, Betty Rich; grandchildren, Jason (Tiffany) Allen, Kendall Allen Jr., Angel Hernandez, Brittany Rowland, Keith (Jade) Rowland, Justin Rowland, Cameron (Tiffany) Rowland, T.J. (Jennifer) Swinford, Sean Swinford, Noah (Sayaka) Allen; several great grandchildren. A service will be held for Clay Jr. Allen on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at 2:00 P.M in the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Donnie Trammel and Pastor Nathan Trammel officiating. Interment will be at Varnell Cemetery, Varnell, GA. Family will be receiving friends for visitation on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 from 5:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M.
