Clifford "Buddy" Parker JR, age 75, of Rocky Face, Georgia passed away Thursday, October 8, 2020. He was born on January 30, 1945. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford Parker SR, and Beulah Harrison Parker; and daughter, Tara Nicole Swilley. He is survived by his wife, JoAnn Parker of Rocky Face; daughters and sons in law, Tamela and Terry Painter, Tonya and Kendrick Pritchett; son in law, Scott Swilley; brother and sister in law, Troy and June Parker; sisters, Shirley Allmon, Mary and Fred Spaulding; grandchildren, Brooke and Nathan Holcomb, Brandon and Kaitlin Bearden, Megan and Jordan Williams, Mariah Harris, Nickolas and Emily Walker, Jordyn Swilley; great grandchildren, Ronald Holcomb, Layton and Brennan Bearden, Haiden and Sophie Williams. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Clifford "Buddy" Parker JR will be held at 4:00 PM Sunday, October 11, 2020 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Bro. Denny Smith officiating. Interment will be at West Hill cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 6-9 PM Saturday evening. Tyler J. Mitchell, Terry Mitchell, Jimmy Shelton, Tony Cochran, Rudy Owenby and Scott Swilley will be serving as pallbearers.
