Connie Talley, age 52, of Resaca, Georgia passed away Friday, October 13, 2017. She was born on January 18, 1965. Connie was preceded in death by her Son, Benjamin Talley. She is survived by her husband, Brant Talley of Resaca, GA; son and daughter in law, Matthew and Kristin Talley of Spartanburg, SC; daughter and son in law, Sara and Andrew Simmons of Powder Springs, GA; parents, Charles and Janie Austin of Resaca, GA; brother, Michael Austin of Resaca, GA; sister and brother in law, Cindy and Dan Peterson of Starkville, MS. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Connie Talley will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Bro. Bret Yaeger officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Resaca. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 3-9 PM Tuesday evening. Jason Pendergrass, Nathan Pendergrass, Marty Pendergrass, Kyle Massengill, Tim Silvers and Matthew Talley will be serving as pallbearers.
