Corey Parris age 33, of Rocky Face, GA, passed away on Tuesday, July 8, 2025. Corey was born in Dalton, GA, on April 28, 1992, the son of Melissa Parris, Ronnie Poe, and Johnny Parsons. Corey loved spending time with his son and his brothers. He loved being outdoors and riding his bicycle. He had a big heart always making sure everyone was ok even if he wasn't. Corey loved helping others. In addition to his parents, survivors include a son, Jadyn Zeth Parris and his mother, Ashley Wooten; brothers, Johnny "Buddy" Parsons, Jr., Jacob Parsons, and Jeremy Parsons; grandparents and many aunts, uncles and cousins. A Celebration of Life will be Monday at 1:00 P.M., Dalton Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Dalton Funeral Home.
