Mr. Cory Butler, age 48, of Dalton, Ga., passed away on Friday, March 27, 2026. He was born on June 25, 1977. He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Butler. Mr. Butler liked walking through the flea markets, playing a good hand of Texas Hold 'em, and cheering on his Florida Gators.

He is survived by his mother, Susan Betts; daughters, Briana Butler and Megan; sons, Tyler and Tucker; brothers, Don Butler (Wendy), Michael Betts (Sandy), Matt Betts (Jessica), Kerry Betts, and Cody Betts; and sister, Jessica Rosas; grandchildren, Hailynn, Addi, Draco, Deklen, Jasper, Cayden, Everett, and Edwin.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mr. Cory Butler will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at the Chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Bro. Denny Smith officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Dalton Funeral Home.
