Dallas M. Roberts of Dalton, Georgia, age 75, passed away Sunday, January 10, 2016. He was born February 2, 1940. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Emma Mae Roberts; brother, James Roberts; sisters, Barbara Saunders and Carolyn Norman. Dallas is survived by his wife of 54 years, Linda Patricia Patton Roberts; sons and daughters in law, Marty and Donna Roberts, Tony and Vickie Roberts, Shane and Lisa Roberts; daughters and sons in law, Angelia and Marty Arnold, Patricia and Scott Findley; brothers and sisters in law, Paul and Evelyn Roberts, Jessie and Margaret Roberts, Louis and Linda Roberts, Cindy Roberts, Jessie and Clarice Baker; sisters and brothers in law, Frances and Bobby Grant, Elizabeth and David Neighbors, Gail and Sonny Burnette, Mary and Hubert Nicholson; Joe Norman; 18 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; close friends, Sonny Holder, Harold and Hilda Echols, Wheeler and Polly Davenport. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Dallas M. Roberts will be held at 5:00 PM Thursday, January 14, 2016 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Bret Yaeger officiating.
