Danny Lamar Ball, age 72, of Tunnel Hill, Georgia passed away Monday, June 5, 2017. He was born on December 11, 1944. He was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Edward Gene Ball, Linda Sue Pierce, Ronnie David Welch, Ricky Thomas Welch and Allen Welch. He is survived by his wife, Pamela Ball of Tunnel Hill; sons, John Ball of Tunnel Hill and Robert Ball of Cartersville; daughter, Kayla Ball of Tunnel Hill; mother, Sally Ball Ralston; sisters and brother, Dianne Caldwell, Charlotte Scott, Mary lawless and Bobby Welch; 4 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Danny Lamar Ball will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, June 8, 2017 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Phillip Burns officiating. Interment will be at West Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5-8 PM on Wednesday evening.
