Darrell Vanover, age 60, of Dalton, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2014. He was born on February 8, 1954.Darrell is preceded in death by his parents, Starlin and Elise Mae Vanover; brothers, Avery Vanover, Ron Vanover and Leonard Vanover; and a sister, Connie Rider. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Mary Vanover of Dalton; son, Alvin Darrell Vanover of Dalton; daughters, Crystal Nunez of Dalton and Nickie Renee Vanover of Dalton; brothers, Carlos Vanover, Don Vanover, William Vanover and Darrell's twin brother Harold Vanover; sisters, Dorothy Bryant, Donna Rider, Joyce Cain, Virginia Carter and Brenda Davis; grandchildren, Whisper Vanover, Andrew Lance, B.B. Nunez, Anthony Nunez and Preston Akins. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Darrell Vanover will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 1:00 PM till the hour of service.
