Richard Darryl Baggett, age 57, of Chatsworth, Georgia passed away Thursday, May 23, 2019. He was born on November 4, 1961. Darryl was an avid reader and a very enthusiastic Georgia Bulldogs and Nascar fan. He enjoyed attending the Murray County Senior Center where he made many friends and will be missed. He was preceded in death by his wife, Beulah Long Baggett; parents, Robert Henry Baggett and Lois Odell Baggett; brothers, Roland Hugh Baggett, Freemand Randall Baggett, Roy Everett Baggett, William Harrison Baggett; and sister, Margaret Elizabeth Thomason. He is survived by his brother, Robert Joseph Baggett, Jr or Chatsworth; sisters and brother in law, Linda Baggett of Chatsworth, Patricia Ann Seay of Eton, Teresa Sue Elrod of Chatsworth, Melissa Jane and David Knipp of Chatsworth; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Richard Darryl Baggett will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, June 2, 2019 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Edwin Puckett officiating.
