David Schmitt, age 60, of Cohutta, Ga. passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2024. He was born January 25, 1964. He was preceded in death by his father, Floyd Schmitt; sons, Hunter Schmitt, Logan Schmitt; sister, Diane Vinyard. He is survived by his mother, Alice "Vann" Dickerson; sons, Jeffery Manis, Junior Schmitt; daughter, Kirsten Schmitt; brother, Eddie Seay, sister, Donna (Chris) Paschal; grandchildren, Tyler Manis, Madison Manis, Kourtney Manis, Hayden Schmitt, Wyatt Pedigo, Grayson Pedigo. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at Dalton Funeral Home.
