David Shampo, age 56, of Tunnel Hill, Georgia passed away Sunday, May 27, 2018. He was born on October 15, 1961. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Millie Shampo; stepson, Casey Childers; brothers, Jimmy Shampo and Jackie Shampo. He is survived by his wife, Wilma Shampo of Tunnel Hill; daughter and son in law, Amy and Zachary England of Chatsworth; stepchildren, Cindy and Gary Kirkland of Dalton, Christie and Mike Pritt of Chatsworth; brother, Timothy Shampo of Fort Oglethorpe; sister and brother in law, Virginia and Stephen Austin of Calhoun; grandchildren, Ariel and Jonathan Wells, Hunter Kirkland, Jordan Kirkland, Josh and Haley Childers, Spencer England; great grandchild, Liam Childers; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service to celebrate the life of David Shampo will be held at 6:00 PM Thursday, May 31, 2018 with Bro. Steve Miller officiating.
