Debbie Swanson, age 43 of Dalton, GA passed away Thursday, October 3, 2013 at Hamilton Medical Center. Born on July 13, 1970 in Springdale, NC. She was the daughter of June Patricia Sneed and the late Jerry Dean Sneed. Debbie was survived by her husband, Dennis Swanson of Dalton; son and daughter in law, Gary and Covan Swanson of Dalton; daughter and son in law, Tina Swanson and Leon East of Dalton; grandchildren, Gary Bubba Swanson, Ayden Swanson, Kaleb Greeson, Karli Greeson, Kalen Greeson, Liam East and Brayden Swanson all of Dalton; brother, Ronnie Arnette; sister in law and husband, Cathy and Gary Newton; brother in laws and wives, Danny and Sherry Swanson, and Gary and Carol Crow; brother in law, David Phillips; special neice, Candice Newton. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Debbie Swanson will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, October 6, 2013 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Chaplain Ken Waddell officiating. Leon East, Anthony Seiber, Greg Wright, Danny Swanson, Cody Sullivan and Benny Poteet will be serving as Pallbearers. Interment will follow at Gordy Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 9:00 PM on Saturday, October 5, 2013.
