Deborah Eads, age 55, of Athens, Alabama passed away Monday, September 21, 2015. She was born on March 19, 1960. She is preceded in death by her father, Leon Pitts; daughter, Stephanie Eads; brothers, Tim Pitts and Glenn Pitts. She is survived by her companion of 25 years, Rocky Long of Athens, AL; mother, Dorothy Dollar Pitts of Dalton; daughters and son in law, Lori and James Nix of Dalton, Melody Eads of Athens, AL; brothers and sisters in law, Carl and Carol Pitts of Dalton, Mike and Karen Pitts of San Antonio, TX; Sisters, Kay Pitts of Roswell, GA; and 6 grandchildren. To celebrate the life of Deborah Eads there will be a prayer held at 2:00 PM Friday, September 25, 2015 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 12:00 PM till the hour of prayer at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations can be made for medical expenses, they can be made to Dalton Funeral Home and will be forwarded to the family.
