Debra Long, age 59, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Saturday, November 17, 2018. She was born on March 29, 1959. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arvin and Dicey Owens; son, Timothy Haggard; and a brother, Randy Owens. She is survived by her husband, Raymond Long of Dalton; son, Aaron Long of Chatsworth; daughter and son in law, Cassie Rae and Ryan Shores of Cumming; sisters and brother in law, Janice Caylor of Chatsworth, Jane Reed of Tahlequa, OK, Edna and Jackie Long of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Madison, Breanna, Andrew and Tyler. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Debra Long will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Bro. Scott Henderson and Bro. Calvin Townsend officiating. Interment will be at Smyrna Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation on Monday evening from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM and Tuesday from 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM.
