Della Mae Brogdon Ledford age 73, of Dalton, GA, passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2025. Della was born in Ringgold, GA, on November 12, 1951, the daughter of the late James Brogdon and Ardella Pierce Brogdon. She retired from Shaw Industries after forty years of service. Della enjoyed working at B.J.'s and P.C.'s restaurant with her family members. She was a member of Eleventh Avenue Baptist Church. Della loved her daughter, grandchildren, and great-grandsons. In addition to her parents, Della was preceded in death by her siblings, Paul Brogdon, Jimmy Brogdon, Johnny Brogdon (Barbara), David Brogdon, Bobbie Jean Hemrich (Tom), Suzie Cline (Mike), Linda Soi, and Betty Joyce Brogdon. Survivors include her daughter, Wenona Hood (Scott); grandchildren, Kelsey Brock, Blake Hood, Evan Hood, Landon Hood, Layla Hood, and Delilah Hood; two great-grandsons, Stylez Dyer and Coleson Dyer; sister, Martha Kittrell (L.J.); sister-in-law, Carolyn Brogdon; and a brother-in-law, Guy Soi. Several nieces and nephews also survive. A Celebration of Life will be Sunday, August 10, 2025, at 4:00 P.M., Eleventh Avenue Baptist Church with Toby Brogden and Chris Tarvin officiating. Interment will follow at Dogwood Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. at Eleventh Avenue Baptist Church.
