Derrick Proctor, age 63, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Sunday, May 1, 2022. He was born on May 7, 1958 in St. Petersburg, Florida. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Hardwick. He is survived by his wife, Veronica Proctor of Dalton, GA; son, David Proctor of Dalton, GA; daughters, Sarah Miller of Calhoun, GA, Mary Proctor of Virginia, Ashley Proctor of Maryland; father, Jack Wooten of St. Petersburg, FL; brother, Kenneth Wooten of St. Petersburg, FL; sisters, Cassandra Jackson and Dena Proctor of St. Petersburg, FL; 3 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Derrick Proctor will be scheduled at Dignity Beach Memorial Chapel in St. Petersburg, FL. Mr. Proctor will be laid to rest at Royal Palms North Cemetery.
