Diane James, age 68, of Rocky Face, Ga. passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2024. She was born November 16, 1955. She was preceded in death by her mother, Syble Timms Smith; sister, Phyllis London. She is survived by her loving husband, Arvil Grady James; daughters, Crystal Adams, Amanda and husband Anthony Fleming, stepfather, Ronnie Smith; brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Pati Kelley; sister, Glenda Barry; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Buddy and Karen Anderson, Carlton and Kay James, and Jo Seay; grandchildren, Byshop Miller, Bevan Miller, Aidan Fleming, Brayden Fleming, Gavin Fleming; great grandchildren, Reese Miller, and Caliber Tenney. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Diane James will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, April 29, 2024 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Bro. Don Asbell officiating. Interment will be at Whitfield Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Monday, April 29, 2024 at Dalton Funeral Home.
