Don James Pettit, age 76, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Friday, August 8, 2020. He was born on February 13, 1944. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Musa Pettit. He is survived by his wife, Joan Ann Pettit of Dalton; daughters and sons in law, Sandy Pettit of Bristol. TN, Jeannie and Brad Lofton of Resaca, Fatima and Jaren Norris of Ringgold; sons and daughters in law, Justin and Rachel Rogers of Dublin, GA, Eddie and Jessica Rogers of Ringgold; sister, Joan Banks of Dalton; grandchildren, Summer, Kalyn, Mattie, Emma, Kaitlyn, Bryson, Austin, and Jordan. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at Flint Hill Cemetery with Bro. Lonnie Starnes officiating.
