Doris Ann Carroll, age 75, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Saturday, February 13, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her Loving family. She was born on May 13, 1945. Doris was preceded in death by her parents, John Thomas Davis and Carrie Belle Powell Davis; her Husband Marvin Lee Carroll. She is survived by her daughters and son in law, Belinda Thurman, Chatsworth GA, Teresa and Doug Cantrell, Dalton GA; sons David Lee Carroll, Cohutta GA, Scotty Royce Simmons, Dalton GA; brother, Gerald Davis, Dalton GA; sisters, Peggy Harden, Augusta GA, Edith Jewell Fletcher, Michigan, Janie Key, Augusta GA; 10 Grandchildren, Amber Dobson, Gage Vance Gee, Jacob Carroll, Alicia Carroll, Andrew Roquemore, Chelsea Luz, Aaron Cantrell, Brandon Simmons, Avery Cantrell and Heath Simmons. A service to celebrate the life of Doris Ann Carroll will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, February 16, 2021 in the Chapel of Dalton Funeral Home, with Pastor Mark Millican officiating, interment will follow at Center Point Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at Dalton Funeral Home and before the service on Tuesday.
