Doris Muse Jackson, age 85, of Resaca, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2021. She was born on October 21, 1936. She is preceded in death by her parents, Andrew Muse and Lizzie "Stephens" Muse; husband, Rev. Milton Jackson; and brother, Rev. Johnny "JM" Muse. She is survived by her son, Gary (Debbie) Jackson of Resaca; daughter, Brenda (Ricky) Dill of Chatsworth; brother, Ralph (Ann) Muse of Resaca; sister, Jewel Richmond of Springplace; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Moore, Dustin Payne, Ronald Muse, Jason Dill, Stephen Dill, and Andrew Jackson. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Dalton Funeral Home. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Doris Muse Jackson will be at 11:00 AM on Sunday, December 12, 2021 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home. Bro. John White will be officiating.
