Ms. Dorothy McMichael Davenport, age 81, of Dalton, Georgia passed away on Friday, June 3, 2022. She was born on May 17, 1941. She is preceded in death by her parents, William Troy Beasley and Nettie "Duvall" Beasley; husband, Marion Davenport Jr.; daughters, Mary Ann Davenport, Teresa Davenport, and Diane Davenport. She is survived by her sons, Charles Edward and Paula Davenport of Chatsworth, Sean Davenport of TN, and Danny Earl Marshall of AL; sister, Betty Witherow of Chatsworth; 9 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and several other nieces and nephews. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Ms. Dorothy McMichael Davenport will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Herman Ledbetter officiating. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 2:00-3:00 PM on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Dalton Funeral Home.
