Dorothy Lewallen, age 67, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2014. She was born on November 1, 1946 in Summerville, GA. She is survived by her sons, Wesley Everett of Dalton, and Bryan McCorder of Dalton; eight grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Dorothy Lewallen will be held at 5:00 PM Friday, February 14, 2014 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Brother Ronnie Nix officiating. Interment will be at West Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 12:00 PM till 5:00 PM prior to the service.
