Dorothy "Faye" Patterson, age 83, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021. She was born on July 12, 1938. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Patterson JR.; parents, Lee and Bessie Darnell; brothers, Hershal Darnell, Howard Darnell, Frank Darnell; and a sister, Lenora Green. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Ronnie and Cathie Patterson, Randy and Cindy Patterson; daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Douglas Carroll; brothers and sister-in-law, Billy and Teresa, Dalmar Darnell; sister and brother-in-law, Sue and Edward Pollard; 4 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Dorothy "Faye" Patterson will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, September 4, 2021 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Cochran officiating. Interment will be at West Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 12:00 PM until the hour of service.
