Dorothy Sue Roach, age 77, of Cohutta, Georgia passed away Thursday, November 19, 2015. She was born September 3, 1938. She is preceded in death by her parents, Willie Alferd Collette and Addie Bailey Collette; brothers, Bud Collette, Donald Collette, Edward Collette, Frank Brooks; sisters, Betty Lakins, Mary Brooks, Juanita Dent; and a grandson, Jeffery Baldridge. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Robert Roach of Cohutta; son and daughter in law, Danny W. and Julie Roach of Cohutta; daughters and sons in law, Debbie and Doug Palmer of Dalton, Terrie and Terry Burns of Calhoun; brother in law, Billy Joe Roach and his wife Evelyn of Cohutta; sister in law, Bonnie Morgan of Varnell; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Dorothy Sue Roach will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Spangler officiating. Interment will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 6-9 PM Monday evening. Flowers are accepted, or donations can be made to Alzheimer's Association.
