Dorothy Margie Wade, age 90, of Chatsworth, Georgia passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2020. She was born on May 17, 1929. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Wade; parents, James Isaac and Leona Caldwell; son, Eddie Wade; grandson, Andy Wade; brothers, Elbert Caldwell, Henry Caldwell, Willie Caldwell, Fred Caldwell, Glenn Caldwell, Arvil Caldwell, Tom Caldwell, and James Caldwell; sister, Lillie Mae Ray. She is survived by daughter and son in law, Beverly and David Akins of Chatsworth, Ga; grandchildren, Mike Wade, Bruce and Michelle Wade, Isaac and Jamie Reed, Brian and Tracy Smith, Brooke Smith, Kaitlyn Simpson, Mikayla Simpson; great grandchildren, Amber, Brittany, Jennifer, Cody, David, Megan, Ansley, and Addison. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Dorothy Margie Wade will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 3, 2020 with Pastor Bobby Green officiating at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home. Interment will be at West Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 12:00 P.M. until the hour of service.
