Douglas Carroll, age 69, of Resaca, Ga. passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2024. He was born February 16, 1955. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie B. Carroll and Jessie Mae Clark Carroll; brothers, Wallace Carroll, Dennis L.D. Carroll. He is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Patterson Carroll; sons, Heath and Elisabeth Carroll of Dalton, Ga., Jeremy and Melissa Carroll of Lenior City, Tn., Jason and Ashley Carroll of Dalton, Ga.; sister, Judy and Steve Shadwick; grandchildren, Taylor Carroll, Ethan Carroll, Emma and Drew Brown, Ella Carroll, Cody Carroll, Thomas Koons, Evelyn Koons, John Douglas Carroll, Marshall Hammond. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mr. Douglas Carroll will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, September 22, 2024 at the Chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Danny Cochran officiating. Interment will be at West Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Dalton Funeral Home.
