Mr. Earnest Ray Mann, age 56, of Dalton, Ga, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2026. He was born on August 31, 1969. Mr. Mann was preceded in death by his parents, William Mann and Exie Chastain. Earnest loved working on big and small engines, listening to music, singing, camping and riding dirt bikes and spending time with family and friends. He was a warm, humorous and friendly spirit that drew people to him with a natural gift of conversation with anyone. He never met a stranger. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him and loved him.

Mr. Mann is survived by his wife, Candice Caldwell Mann, of 43 years. Sons, Matthew Mann, Anthony Mann, and Alex Mann (Brianna); sister Patricia Mann, grandchildren, Karley Mann, Easton Mann, and Juliet Mann; numerous aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews; father-in-law David Baynes and mother-in-law, Kathy Baynes.

A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Mann will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at 2:00 pm. The family will be receiving friends for a visitation on Thursday, July 30, 2026, from 12:00 pm.
