Edith Veronica Jewell, age 59, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Friday, August 16, 2019. She was born on April 16, 1960. Edith was preceded in death by her; parents, Jessie and Edith Mozell Fountain; brothers, Tommy Norton and Bobby Fountain; sisters, Mary Jo Brown and Bonnie Merrell. She is survived by her daughter, Brittany Smith (Nathan) of Chatsworth; son, Tyler Tyvand of Dalton; brothers, Scotty Fountain of Ft. Oglethorpe and Vincent Norton (Melinda) of Resaca; sister, Clara Thomas of Chatsworth and two grandchildren, Riley Smith and Nolan Smith. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 2-4 PM on Sunday afternoon August 18, 2019 at Dalton Funeral Home.
