Edna Margaret Burns, age 69, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Saturday, March 16, 2019. She was born on August 17, 1949. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Burns; son, Joshua Burns; parents, Wiley Rogers and Mildred Rogers. She is survived by her son, Gene Author Burns of Dalton; daughters and son in law, Stephanie Michelle Burns Frazer of Dalton; Camilla and Don Webb of Dalton; brothers, Ralph Rogers of TN, Jimmy Rogers of TN; sisters, Wilma Thomas of TN, Anna Fife of TN; brothers in law, Bill Burns of TN, Ralph Burns of TN; sister in law, Ginger Tipton; grandchildren, Aubrey Burns, Zander Parrott, Noah Burns, Kayla Dickinson, Brandy Dickinson, Brianna Karah Powell and Kolby Powell; great grandchildren, Alissa, Mchale and Nathan; special friends, Josh Howard, Susan Goswick, Bobby Goswick and Chris Bradford. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Edna Margaret Burns will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, March 21, 2019 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Chaplain Tommy Deal officiating. Interment will be at Whitfield Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends for visitation rom 11:00 AM until the hour of service.
