Edward "Lee" Ball, age 65, of Dalton, passed away peacefully at his residence on December 8, 2025. Born November 30, 1960, in Dalton, GA to the late Edward Gene and Mary Louise Ball. Lee marched to the beat of his own drum. He was one of a kind and often treated differently and misunderstood, he refused to conform to what others considered normal. He was much more than what met the eye. Lee loved with everything he had in him. He had a heart of gold, especially for family. He cherished the time he had with his mother, children, nieces/nephews, and his grandchildren. Lee loved his two daughters more than anything in the world. Growing up, he gave them everything he could to ensure that they had everything they needed. He called his two granddaughters "Pawpaw's girls." He is survived by his daughter, Mandi Ball; girlfriend, Theresa Thompson; brothers, Lamar (Vicky) Ball and David (Danielle) Ball; sister, Angelia (Randy) Teem; grandchildren, Alyssa Wilson, Harlee Wilson, Syles Thompson, Dylan Dockery, and Camron Dockery; and special nephew, Randy Teem. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter Melissa Ball and grandson Grayden. Special thanks to Dylan for helping care for him.
