Edward Brown, age 83, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Friday, January 22, 2021. He was born on September 1, 1937. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Flora Brown; brothers, Jasper Brown, Bill Brown, Aldelea Brown; sisters, Reatha Parris, and Florence Queen. He is survived by his wife, Floetta Brown of Dalton; sons and daughters in law, Rocky and Kimberly Brown of Dalton, Roger and Susan Brown of Rocky Face; daughter and son in law, Robin and Jon Colston of Taylorsville, GA; brother and sister in law, Author "Todd" and Mary Ann Brown of Dalton; sister, MarthaRay Barker of Epworth, GA; grandchildren, Terrica Harbour, Jeremy Walker, Brittany Everett, Amber Brown, Jared Brown, Cassandra Brown; great grandchildren, Cheyenne Hudson, Zander Hudson, Kayli Everett, Lillie Everett, Jayden Headrick, Brooklyn Green, and Khloe Green. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Edward Brown will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, January 25, 2021 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Johnny Beason officiating. Interment will be at Harmony Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5-8 PM Sunday evening.
