Edward Benton Goswick, age 49, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away on February 6, 2014. He was born on January 12, 1965 in Chattanooga, TN. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Goswick; biological father, Edward Bowe. He is survived by his daughter, Ashley Taylor and her fiancé Brandon Cannon of Chatsworth; daughter and son in law Jordyn and Joseph Duke of Tunnel Hill; mother, Barbara Goswick of Tunnel Hill; girlfriend, Stephanie Hall; brothers and sisters in law, WR and Jimmy Goswick of Calhoun, Wesley and Beverly Garren of Dalton; sisters and brothers in law, Cherie and Gary Mathis of Ringgold, Carolyn Bowe of KY, Christine and Mike Cepeda of KY, Kathy and Peter Manzoni of KY, Karen Bowe of KY; grandchildren, Juliana Taylor and Jaxsun Duke; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Edward Benton Goswick will be held at 3:00 PM on, Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Rev. Ronald Guffey officiating. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM prior to the funeral service. Interment will be at West Hill Cemetery.
