Georgia "Elizabeth" Arnold Skidmore, age 78, of Rocky Face, Georgia passed away Friday, January 1, 2021. She was born on April 7, 1942. She was preceded in death by her parents, Varnie and Hazel Arnold; sisters, Irene Blackwell, Ruby Bryson, Jean Mercer and Jodie Cook. She is survived by her Husband, Paul Skidmore of Rocky Face; son and daughter-in-law, Troy and Angie Skidmore of Rocky Face; daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce and Bret Yaeger of Dalton, Cynthia and Marty Cooper of Rocky Face; sister, Anne Knowles of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Michael Yaeger, Christi Fetzer, Mickey Cooper, Stephanie Painter, Maddox Norton; great grandchildren, Noah Yaeger, Gia Yaeger, Lukas Yaeger, Asa Yaeger, Jossie Fetzer and Tessa Fetzer. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Elizabeth will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 5, 2021at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Bro. Marty Cooper and Pastor Bret Yaeger officiating. Interment will be at Center Valley Cemetery in Chatsworth. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5-8 PM Monday evening at the funeral home.
