Ellen Sue Powell, age 76, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Tuesday, November 30, 2021. She was born on March 2, 1945. She was preceded in death by his father, Herman A. Powell; mother Velvie "Thomas" Powell; brothers, Herman "Shorty" Powell, Crawford Powell; sisters, Martha Faye Allen, Dot Winkler, Joyce Rogers, June Rogers. She is survived by her Nephews, Bishop Ronnie (Pamela) Powell of Dalton and their daughter, Kailyn Powell; Michael (Debra) Powell of N. Port FL, Tharon (Line) Powell of Philippine's; nieces, Rebecca "Becky" Silvers of Tunnel Hill, and Angie Powell (Tim Holcomb) of Tunnel Hill. A special thank you to all the staff of Chatsworth Health Care for their loyalty and taking such good care of Ellen. A graveside service for Ellen Sue Powell will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, December 6, 2021 at Varnell Memorial Gardens with Bishop Ronnie B. Powell.
