Mr. Elmer Larry Earwood, age 78, of Dalton, GA. Passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2023. He was born on December 7, 1944. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer Earwood and Willie Holt; brothers, Jackie and Rudy Earwood; sisters, Dean Adcox; Nell Earwood. He is survived by his sweet wife, Lucy Dale Earwood of Dalton; son Bobby Earwood of Dalton; daughter, Joyce (Anthony) Bowen of Tunnel Hill; son Jimmy Earwood, (Tom McVey) of Chattanooga; brothers, Danny (Lola) Earwood, and Ellis (Brenda) Earwood; and sister, Pat Prater (Wendell); Grandchildren Donnie Brackett, Lamar Brackett; Great grandchildren, Maddison, Isiah. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mr. Larry Earwood will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, in the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at Dalton Funeral Home.
