Elsie Imagene Ball, age 78, of Calhoun, Georgia passed away Monday, January 11, 2016. She was born July 10, 1937. She is preceded in death by her parents, John Ridley and Minnie Duggar Ridley; brothers, Jim Ridley, Clifford Ridley; sisters, Irene Massengill and Agnes Hackler. She is survived by her husband, Perry Ball of Calhoun; sons and daughter in law, Chuck Ball of Calhoun, Jimmy and Debra Ball of Calhoun; daughter, Carolyn M. Parker of Calhoun; brothers, Grover Ridley of Dalton, Jess Ridley of Dalton; sisters, Maggie Dempsey of Dalton, Frances Kendrick of Chatsworth; 7 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Elsie Imagene Ball will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Pastor Calvin Anderson officiating. Interment will be at Casey Springs Cemetery. Ty Windiate, Dusty Windiate, Cody Maddron, TJ Burchett, Michael Fryar and Matthew Ball will be serving as pallbearers, and Matt Rush and Lamar Ball will be serving as honorary pallbearers.
