Elsie Johnson "Ma", 98, of Dalton, Georgia passed away on Saturday, May 29, 2021. Elsie was born August 31, 1922. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents Harris and Nora Campbell; husband, Lillard Johnson; grandson, Justin Terry; brothers, Edward, Jim, Jake, Bonelle, Robert Campbell; sisters, Edith, Hazel, Bill, Nervia, Nell, Ruby, Geneva. Elsie is survived by her daughter and caregiver, Brandy (Jose) Medina of Dalton; daughters, Kathy (Charles) Guess of Rocky Face, Katie (Charley) Owens of Tunnel Hill, Carolyn Thomas of Dalton, Rosey Collins of Dalton; son, Bonas (Regina) Johnson of Florida; grandchildren, April Guess, Tiffany Peden, James Thomas, Chuck Owens, Tisha Owens, Tonya McMunn; several great grandchildren, and one special great grandson Justin. The family will be receiving friends for visitation on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor David Owens officiating. Burial will be at Bonnie Oaks Cemetery in Tracey City, TN.
