Mr. Ernest "Bud" Greeson, age 76, of Dalton, Georgia passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2023. He was born June 10, 1947. He was preceded in death by his parents, Abraham and Gertrude "Land" Greeson; wife, Mary "Burk" Greeson; daughter, Beverly "Joanne" Knipp; Brothers, Leroy Greeson, Lyod Greeson, Freddie Greeson, and Lewis Greeson. He is survived by his sons Buddy Greeson (Dana) and Michael Greeson (Rachel); brother Mark Greeson (Vickie); sister, Rosalee Shipman; 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mr. Ernest "Bud" Greeson will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at Riverbend Church of Christ, 2218 S. Riverbend Rd Dalton, GA 30721 with the Minister Barry Grider officiating. Interment will be at Lonesome Dove Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at Dalton Funeral Home.
