Ernest Shultz, Sr., age 65, of Brooksville, Florida passed away December 21, 2016 in Dalton, GA. He was born March 28, 1951 in Batavia, NY. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cowan, TN and a veteran of the US Army, serving two tours in Vietnam. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Shultz; four children, Wendy Pinkston, Candi Bedford, Ernest Shultz Jr., and Matthew Shultz; his mother, Margie Dunkle; two stepdaughters, Susan Cash and Jackie Nichols; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Herman Shultz and a sister, Lois Catherine Shultz. Funeral service will be held 10 am Thursday, December 29, at Whitfield Funeral Home in Zephyrhills, FL. Interment will be held at Florida National Cemetery.
