Estill William "Bill" Purkey, age 50, of Calhoun, Georgia passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2015. He was born on October 8, 1964 in Blount County Tennessee. Bill enjoyed being with close friends and family. He is preceded in death by his mother, Janet Richardson Purkey; grandparents, Estill and Marie Richardson, Marvin and Gladys Purkey. Bill is survived by his father, Howard William Purkey; brother, Van Purkey of Chatsworth; sisters and brother-in-law, Euvelia Brock of Calhoun, Jessica and Justin Saylor of Calhoun; nephew, Austin Purkey; Niece, Angela Purkey. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Estill William "Bill" Purkey will be held at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Brother Marvin Richardson officiating. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 4:00 PM till the hour of service. In lieu of flowers the family will greatly appreciate any donations.
