Etter Louise Wilkins, age 84, of Dalton, GA departed this life on May 14, 2020. Etter was born April 23, 1936. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bruce and Nettie Watson; loving husband, James Paul Wilkins; sons, James Avery Wilkins and Alvin Bruce Wilkins; daughter, Loretta Smith; sisters, Martha Jenkins, Lola Barker, and Irene McFalls; great grandson, Edward Dwayne Allen. Etter is survived by her daughter, Jackie Clem of Dalton; son, Joe Larry Wilkins of Dalton; sisters, Betty of Cleveland, TN and Zettie McFalls of Cleveland, TN; brother, J.B. Watson of Polk County TN; Twelve grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Etter Louise Wilkins will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, May 18, 2020 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home. Interment will be at Whitfield Memorial Gardens, Dalton, Ga. The family will be receiving friends for visitation on Sunday, May 17, 2020 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Dalton Funeral Home.
