Mr. Eugene Talmadge "Gene" Robertson, age 94, of Tunnel Hill, GA, passed away on Friday, February 17, 2023. He was born on August 23, 1928. He is preceded in death by his father, Henry Clark; mother, Effie "McGimsey" Robertson; wife, Lounette "James" Robertson; brothers, Reuben Robertson, Edward Robertson, Horton Robertson, Noel Robertson, Rouse Robertson, and Frank Robertson; and sisters, Marie Robertson Shipley. He is survived by his sons and daughters, Linda and Charles Ross, Sue Dixon, Ricky Eugene and Janet Robertson, Diane and John Frix, Garah and Steve Keith, Robert Keith Robertson, Charlotte and Willard Roberson, Sandra Sewell, Steven Lamar Robertson, Teresa and Jackie Hammontree; sisters, Dottie and Fred Stokes, Nellie Ramirez, Mae Ragon, and Eleanor Aldridge; 14 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and several other nieces and nephews. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mr. Eugene Talmadge "Gene" Robertson will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, February 20, 2023 in the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Devon Cantrell officiating. Interment will be at West Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM on Monday, February 20, 2023 at Dalton Funeral Home.
